About Annabel - Advanced Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist in Breast Cancer

Annabel graduated as a physiotherapist from the University of Salford in 2008 and has since dedicated over 16 years to working within the NHS. Throughout her career, she has gained extensive experience across multiple areas of physiotherapy, before discovering her true passion in musculoskeletal physiotherapy over a decade ago.

It was during this time that Annabel developed a special interest in oncology physiotherapy, particularly in breast cancer care and scar management. To deepen her expertise, she completed a Master's module at The Royal Marsden School and qualified as a Level 4 Cancer Rehab Specialist Instructor through the respected CanRehab Trust.

Annabel currently works at East Cheshire NHS Trust at The Christie @ Macclesfield, where she leads radiotherapy exercise classes and provides one-to-one assessments and treatments for local patients.

Away from work, Annabel enjoys swimming, reformer Pilates, paddleboarding, and spending time with her two energetic children. She lives in the heart of Wilmslow, just steps away from her welcoming home-based clinic - small in size but full of warmth and care.
